It's been fabulous to have so many people keen to join our wine makers dinners next week. We feel very lucky to have such great clients.
We still have a handful of places remaining for the Auld Family Wines dinner at The Apollo Arms (only because the room is bigger) and would love you to join us on Friday 31st January. Sam Auld on the left in the pic above is truly passionate about their amazing, high scoring wines, as well as being a great raconteur to boot. It promises to be an exceptionally fun night, hosted by Sam, and we can't wait to finish next week in style. Just reply to this email to secure your seat.
The Peerick Wines dinner on Wednesday January 29th is now oversubscribed and we can only accept waiting list places. If you'd like to join our tasting menu dinner at Freakscene, let us know in case of drop outs. The team at Freakscene are really excited to host this and owner/head chef Scott has been working on a fabulous menu to match Michael's delicious wines. We're really excited to be partnering with both Peerick and Freakscene.
On Jan 30th, Ben and PJ will be at the Australian Trade Tasting. It was at this very tasting last year, with barely a days trading behind us, that we met Ed Carr, the eponymous wine producer of House of Arras. We also met Paul and Izzy from Oakdene and discovered in them a beautiful little family operation, making wonderful wines down on the south coast of Melbourne. We have high hopes this year to meet some incredible producers and bring you the best that Australia has to offer.
More importantly, we have a stand there and along with Michael from Peerick Wines and Sam from Auld Family Wines, we will be showcasing the best that our winemakers grow to the restaurant and media community. If you're there, stop by the Australian Vintners stand and say hello.
We celebrate the secret the wine world is discovering: Australian Wine.
