Confirm your age
You must be an adult to purchase from our website.
Are you 18 years of age or older?
Yes. It is illegal to sell alcohol to anyone under 18 in the UK, and by placing an order you confirm you are at least 18. If you're buying wine as a gift, the recipient must be 18 or over too. Our couriers operate a Challenge 25 policy and may ask for ID on delivery.
Simply browse our wines, add what you'd like to your basket, and check out. You'll receive an order confirmation email straight away, and a dispatch confirmation once your wine is on its way. If you have any trouble ordering, email us at wine@australianvintners.co.uk and we'll sort it out.
If your order hasn't been dispatched yet, we can usually amend or cancel it — email us as soon as possible at wine@australianvintners.co.uk with your order number. If it's already on its way, you can still return it under our standard returns policy.
Yes — most of our wines are sold in cases of 6 bottles, and our curated mixed boxes come as pre-selected sixes or twelves. This is how the wineries pack them and it keeps every bottle safe in transit.
Yes. All prices shown include UK VAT and UK alcohol duty — the price you see is the price you pay.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Apple Pay. All payments are processed securely — we never see or store your full card details.
Almost all of our wines come from small, family-owned wineries across Australia — from the Barossa Valley and Adelaide Hills in South Australia to the Victorian Pyrenees and cool-climate Tasmania. Many of them never normally leave their home state, let alone Australia. We work directly with the winemakers to bring them to the UK.
We always aim to show the current vintage, but as our wines are small-batch, vintages occasionally change as stock sells through. If a vintage change is significant, we'll let you know before dispatching. Labels and exact ABV may also vary slightly between bottlings.
Some are — it varies by producer and wine. If this matters to you, email us and we'll confirm for any specific wine before you order.
All wines contain sulphites, which are a natural by-product of winemaking and a UK-listed allergen. Some wines may also be fined using traditional agents derived from milk, egg, or fish. If you have a specific allergy, get in touch and we'll check with the producer.
Somewhere cool, dark, and away from vibration — a cupboard away from radiators works well if you don't have a cellar. Bottles sealed with cork are best stored on their side; screwcap bottles can stand upright. Most of our wines are ready to drink now, but many will happily age — our tasting notes tell you which.
We'd love to. Email us at wine@australianvintners.co.uk with what you usually enjoy (or the occasion, the food, the budget) and we'll give you a personal recommendation. It's our favourite part of the job.
