And the winner is...

It's hard enough to win a gold medal, but a platinum one, for the second year running at the Decanter World Wine awards, really is something to shout about for the House of Arras Blanc de Blancs 2014.

We are seriously happy to stock House of Arras in the UK and even happier to have secured a small parcel of this knock out fizz. Ed Carr, the wine maker behind House of Arras, goes from strength to strength and this really is one of his best. Tasmanian fizz has been growing ever more popular and winning awards everywhere it goes. If you haven't tried it then this is a superb place to start!

A very grown up expression of chardonnay from Tasmania with an amazing mix of citrus fruit, a fresh nose and those all important fresh pastry/brioche notes you get in all the best vintage sparkling wines. Blanc de blancs is always my favourite glass of fizz, the extra smoothness and hint of butter you get contrasts so well with the acidity, hence you'll be unsurprised to know how much of this we will be pouring at home!
