Conor is a supremely talented wine maker and his distinctive style of picking over many days generates wines of great complexity. This is a more robust style of Pinot that we absolutely love. Full of stunning fruit flavours, peppery notes and some delightful oaky, caramel influences this is a great food wine. The tannins are silky and the acidity gives the wine great length. 2018 was a very hot vintage to start the season, but a cooler end to the season created great yields and wonderful fruit. Note that despite just being from only 2ha of vineyard Conor and his team performed nine separate picks for this wine! All wines were pressed to French oak and aged for a further 12 months in old oak. ABV 13.7%
