A gorgeous Medium Bodied Shiraz, much lighter than the Barossa floor cousins. When PJ & I were at the Australia Trade tasting this was one of the wines that stopped us in our tracks. Barrel for 16 months before 5 years of bottle aging and then we found it. Tastes of dark fruits but with lighter feel of some summer fruits coming through. Amazing wine with food - think a big lamb shank or the like! Drink now, even. if it will age happily it's ready to go. ABV 14.5%

Oakdene Wines

We met Father and daughter team Steve and Izzy at the Australia Trade tasting in Jan 2024. They were so energetic, enthusiastic and passionate about what they were doing. Could the wines live up to the glorious energy of the family that made them? You bet they could! after spending a few hours in the pub with them afterwards we waddled home with a six pack to taste and the rest is history.
