GSMs are the staple of all Rhône wines & this South Aussie version has all the hallmarks of complex fruits & bold tannins. Red Head pulls off a cracking blend once again. Grenache, Shiraz & Mataro (mouvedre in Europe) is the classic rhone blend and pairs brilliantly with so many foods from a roast beef on a Sunday to something fabulous off the barbie. This has a lot of elegance in the glass and really does remind you of a superb French Rhone. A superbly rounded nouse and a deftly long finish which is a real show of this wine's age. Frankly it could cellar for a few more years but we'll be drinking all of ours now.
