Adelaide Hills delivers time and again for stunning cooler climate wines and this Chardonnay by Hesketh is no different. 2024 was descried by the grower as an accountants nightmare - lower yields from a much smaller fruit set - but the highly concentrated, pristine fruit created incredible quality in the cellar. Stunning flavours of pear and white peach along side the gorgeous hint of oak from the second press in French barriques and oak aged for 8 months. This is no oaky beast of a wine - it's a brilliantly created light chardonnay. The creamy and citrus palate will have you reaching rapidly for another bottle! ABV 13%
