The Common Molly is a magnificent fish - resilient, resourceful and visually striking. Sam and Jock Auld don't make fish though, they make brilliantly modern style wines you'll love drinking. Vintage 2022 will be remembered as one of the great Barossa Valley vintages, and the 2022 Barossa Valley Sangiovese is a testament to that. Rich dark cherries on the nose, delicate rose petals following and a lovely hint of a peppery finish. This brilliantly modern wine though really reflects its classic Chianti origins. The earthiness of Sangiovese lends itself to slow cooked stews with rich, sweet vegetables. Drink now - it's no good to you in the cupboard. ABV 14.8%
