A really easy drinking burgundy "village" style chardonnay made in the cooler climate of the Adelaide Hills. We tried over 50 wines at the Wine Australia Trade Tasting and this was the star of the show for us. It has lovely smoothness in the glass and just the right amount of that all important burgundy butteriness but without any of the over-oaked style so many Aussie chardonnays at this price point seem to have. Goes as well on its own as it does with a chicken schnitzel!
