Adelaide Hills shiraz are always slightly finer and less intense than a lot of Barossa Valley versions. And so it is that Mikey Sawyer keeps the direct fruit of a great shiraz, with juicy blackberries and blueberries creating such an inviting nose, but with soft and elegant tannins alongside. We loved this wine when we first tasted it for the really refined finish. Delicious and rich with a lovely velvety feel to the wine. Drinks perfectly with smokey flavours from the bbq; whether a burger, ribs or a grilled duck breast. This is also great with a bit of grilled Halloumi or some blue cheese. 14% ABV
