Founded in McLaren Vale SA in 2002, in an old restaurant called RedHeads. It was used by moonlighting winemakers to break free from the corporate shackles to come and make “real” wines, the way they wanted to. Tiny batches, hands-on, interesting blends and big flavours.
These days the team are based in the Barossa Valley in a custom-built winery, but their principals are the same. They hunt down premium parcels of fruit that were destined to be blended into some big name, nondescript wine and instead give it the attention it deserves in the RedHeads’ winery.
With over 20 different varietals kept in the winery they go on to form wines with individuality and unique character. No two wines are the same.
We really loved their truly different approach to wine-making and feel that their approach to creating genuinely different, but incredibly drinkable wines will be a real hit. We are very proud to stock their wines in the UK.
